Echoes in Middle-earth is a narrative GBHL80 event where players compete across multiple rounds of Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. The narrative event will focus on a specific area of the Middle-earth story, for this one, we will focus on The Three Hunters. The event will use a modified Swiss Pairings draw, therefore double plays should not happen. Scenarios will be from various Narrative Campaign Books and may be modified from the original publication.
You will play six (6) games total during the day, three (3) being played with your Three Hunters “army”, and three (3) being played against someone else’s Three Hunters “army” where you use the provided Evil models. All Evil models will be supplied by the PaintsOnAXUp Team, you just need to bring your 3 Three Hunters models (Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli). You will play the same scenario twice, once as The Three Hunters and once as the Evil side, against the same opponent. Rules for the three (3) scenarios are in this pack and will be provided on the day at the tables, along with any Evil models and their profiles.
Tickets will cost £25 and go on sale on Thursday 1st January 2026 at 8pm. They can be bought by sending the money to [email protected] via PayPal Friends & Family.
Your Tournament Organiser is Cameron Ruairidh (Cochrane), and David Allan/Daryn McMillian being the 2nd in command and the ringers.
The event will be held on Saturday the 21st February 2026 at The Alan Clark Veterans Club (ACVC Hub): Unit 4a, Moorpark Industrial Estate, Orton Pl, Ibrox, Glasgow, G51 2HF.
Max player capacity is 24.
There is ample parking at the venue.
Lunch is included in the price. This will be a selection of food, think buffet style stuff. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let me know as soon as possible. There will also be a “Tuck Shop” run with cans of juice, chocolate and crisps, etc... with all profits from this going to the ACVC Hub. You can also bring all your own food/drinks into the venue (no alcohol is permitted on the premises).
