About this Event
Echo Response
Echo Response released their debut album “Triangles” via Pax Aeternum in 2022. The brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Jason Ingalls (Seekonk, The Baltic Sea, El Malo) the music is a blended mix of dub, krautrock, prog, surf, Afro-beat and funk. The album received rave reviews from such disparate media outlets as Treble Magazine, I Heart Noise, Metal Utopia and Prog Rock Journal. Complimenting the live band is Rexy Dinosaur on saxophone/ keys, Chris “C$” Burns on bass / guitar, Andrew Magennis on drums, Justin Wiley on keys.
HAZE
Four high school seniors in an alternative rock band... Well thats how to put it simply. They must suck right? Well, you would think so. Living in Gorham, Maine hasn’t really given them all that much to do, sparing a lot of free time towards playing music and developing a realization for the art that it truly is. Lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Luc Anthony and Guitarist Mason Landré started the idea for the band in 2018 after jamming together while Mason was still learning how to play, since then they’ve gathered best companions Will Boylen on bass and Gavin Lavoie on drums to make the band what it is today- a sometimes psychedelic, sometimes metal, sometimes acoustic, sometimes straight to the point rock band. At the cusp of 18 years old, they’ve realized this is what they want to do for the rest of their lives. As of now there is about nothing that is going to stop them.
From all of us in Haze, we hope you check us out. Our live shows will only get better and better with chemistry and energy to spare! And real music y’all can relate to. We not only want to leave our mark in the Portland scene, but the whole world. Love to all of our fans and supporters forever and beyond.
Songs for the End Times is an experimental rock group based out of Farmington, Maine. Combining elements of progressive rock, jazz, and folk, they concoct a cacophony congruent with current (and coming) cultural calamities.
In 2021, guitarist and songwriter Jordan Lincoln began playing with drummer Jeremiah Whitman in a spare room at Jeremiah’s house. Finding a connection, the two immediately started arranging a group around Jordan’s original work. After months of experimentation, documentation, and careful analysis, the band has boiled down to a distilled solution of highly potent 3-piece prog.
