Eddie “Peligro” Amaya, a Texas native with Afro-Latino Caribbean roots, is a dynamic dancer from Que Candela Dance Company based in Phoenix, Arizona. Specializing in both Salsa and Bachata, Eddie is known for his unique urban twist on traditional Caribbean Bachata movement, making him a standout performer and teacher. Since founding Que Candela in 2019, he has traveled across the country, sharing his passion for Afro-Latin rhythms through captivating choreographies, engaging workshops, and inspiring social dancing at various congresses and festivals. This month, Eddie brings his talent to Austin for a special night at Echale Salsita & Echale Bachata, where he’ll be teaching an exciting Traditional Bachata class at 9pm. Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to learn from one of the best in the Afro-Latin dance community!
