Karel Flores, a dancer, choreographer, competition judge, and founder of Karel Flores World, leads a global dance franchise with salsa teams across the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia, empowering women through dance. Born in Mexico into a family of artists, she moved to New York City as a teenager to train with the renowned Yamuleé Dance Company, becoming their principal female dancer. After eight years, she pursued a solo career, performing and teaching in over 60 countries and serving as a judge for major salsa competitions. Karel’s unique blend of salsa NY Style on2, contemporary dance, Afro-Cuban, and Pachanga has made her a sought-after instructor worldwide.
