Who is Versace Doll?
Versace Doll (born May 1995), known professionally as “The Seattle Medusa”, is an Black Transgender woman, American drag queen , vocalist, entrepreneur, director, producer, and staple of the S eattle nightlife scene. Born in Birmingham Alabama they fell in love with drag in 2017. In 2021, Versace followed her dreams after obtaining her BFA in Musical by transitioning her mind and her life and relocating to the Pacific Northwest.
Versace was born in Birmingham , Alabama and after fighting through the foster care system, adopted at the age of 5. Raised as an only child, to their father who was a minister, and two militant parents, they graduated with a BFA degree in Musical Theatre from t he University of Montevallo in Birmingham, Alabama. In their sophomore year, they were cast in Shrek the Musical at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. During their senior year, they were the lead performer in numerous shows prior to embarking on their newfound drag career. Versace has performed in theater since the age of nine which launched her talent and founded her love of Drag Entertainment.
In 2021, Versace Doll was born and she joined the cast of Julia’s On Broadway , Seattle, where she now produces, directs, and stars in the weekly Drag Cabaret Programming. Since then, Versace has continued their drag career, appearing on Fox 13, Kiro 7, headlining and performing throughout Washington, co-hosting the 2022 & 2023 Seattle Pride Parade, and has embarked on domestic and international stages, including Dublin, Ireland, Milwaukee, New York, Las Vegas, Houston and Orlando to name a few.
