"Eat Your Natives, Eat Your Invasives" aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to identify, harvest, and enjoy the native and invasive plants common in urban environments.
This workshop will delve into the ecological and health benefits of eating both native and invasive species, helping you foster a more balanced and sustainable relationship with your environment.
Class fee $32.
INSTRUCTOR: Ayla Bella seeks to address climate change and food insecurity through permaculture and urban food forests. She founded Rooting Resilience, a local nonprofit working to establish forest gardens on public land, and Nourish: Ecologically Thoughtful Gardens, a garden consultation business to help people create yards that are beautiful, sustainable, and edible.
