Eat the Parks Mushroom Foraging Walk, Highland Park: Sunset Woods Park

Chicago's only full time professional forager Dave Odd a for a walk around Sunset Woods Park and the surrounding neighborhood to see all the wild and wonderful edible plants and mushrooms that grow right in your backyard. Guaranteed to learn about at least 50 edible plants and mushrooms! Meet right by the playground near the parking lot on the west side of the park.

Hen of the woods, puffballs, Honey mushrooms, wood blewits, chicken of the woods, and more should be popping.

$40 a person, $75 a couple/pair. Group rates available or book a private event for later in the day.
