A portion of tonight's sales will go to fund the Junior League of Richmond, who contribute to our community by serving and empowering women, youth, and families with programs such as:

• assisting victims of domestic abuse
• health and learning equity programs for women
• assisting individuals in getting their GED or drivers' license
• covering new home start-up costs
• ...and many, many other desperately needed community programs.

A portion of all copies of Easy Weeknight Dinners sold through Fountain Bookstore through the end of 2024 will be donated.

Eileen Mellon is an award-winning author and the food editor of Richmond magazine. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Mellon moved to RVA more than a decade ago, got hooked on Sally Bell’s boxed lunches and never left. The former front-of-house staffer writes a weekly dining column and covers everything from restaurant openings to local purveyors and people behind the scenes.
