Easy Does It returns for 2024! A welcoming, inclusive, beginner-friendly social dance party, proudly brought to you by Swing Patrol - this time with a Mix and Match Competition!Ticket sales will open on Monday 18th March, 1pm
What to expect:
A complimentary swing dance taster class followed by lots of social dancing to great DJs, plus a mix and match comp especially designed for those who are newer to competing.

Time: Doors open 6:45pm, beginner lesson 7:00 - 7:30pm, social dancing 7:30 - 11pm including mix and match competition
Location: Kensington Town Hall, 30-34 Bellair St, Kensington VIC 3031
Nervous? New to swing dancing? No worries! This is the event for you!
Online ticket sales will open on Monday 18th March at 1pm. Get your ticket early - previous events sold out weeks in advance! Door sales will be available on the night, only if not sold out in advance (credit/EFTPOS card only – no cash.)
Bar facilities available, no BYO alcohol.

What is a Mix and Match Competition?
In a Mix and Match Competition, competitors enter as a lead or a follow and are randomly paired with other dancers of the opposite role. Competitors are judged on their ability to social dance with their randomly assigned partner/s. No need to enter with a partner! This comp is especially for those who are fairly new to competing - so if you’ve been waiting for the right time to dip your toe into a relaxed competition, this one's for you!

Covid Safety:
Swing Patrol continues to adhere to the government recommendation to be up to date and fully vaccinated against Covid-19, to hopefully mitigate serious personal illness. We therefore strongly encourage attendees at all dance activities to consider their vaccination status and the possible risks incurred by exposure to numbers of people in close proximity and physical contact, indoors, unmasked and engaging in aerobic exercise. Masks are welcomed and encouraged.
* DO NOT come to this event if you are unwell, if experiencing any Covid symptoms, if you have been in recent contact with a positive Covid case or are awaiting Covid test results. Likewise, stay at home if you have illness such as colds and flu. A refund will be available if you need to cancel due to illness/Covid Safety, as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 5pm on the day of the event.
