Join us for the Independent Bookstore Day Crawl- Along the Eastern Shore! We are celebrating Independent Bookstores from Rehoboth Beach to Chincoteague! What is Independent Bookstore Day?
Independent Bookstore Day is a national event that takes place on the last Saturday of April to celebrate independent bookstores. It honors the unique ways local bookstores and booksellers contribute to their communities.
Each store is unique and independent, and every party is different.
You can support independent bookstores by browsing and buying books at local bookstores. Independent booksellers can
offer personalized recommendations based on your interests and preferences, helping you discover new books

What is the Eastern Shore Indies Independnet Bookstore Day Crawl?
Each year our growing bookstore community welcomes thousands of bookstore lovers to spend the day celebrating all of
the unique and welcoming independent bookstores across the country. This year, we’ve organized our first Bookstore Crawl
along the Eastern Shore from Rehoboth Beach, DE to Chincoteague, VA.
To make it fun, each year we challenge you, dear reader, to "crawl" your way down the coastline exploring as many
bookstores as you can.

How does it work?
Print your Passport ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x-s5KHlIBwJ_Zp43qk_a8WixDXTHlsUa/view?usp=drive_link ) and prepare your path!
Starting the morning of April 27th, 2024, your first bookstore will provide you with a stamp next to their store name.
While a purchase isn't required, we do hope you support these bookstores as you make it through the day. We suggest
wearing a backpack or bringing/purchasing a tote!
While this year's passport will have all store addresses, it will not have a map on it, so plan ahead.
Additional bookstores you visit throughout the day will provide you with a stamp with no purchase required! (However,
showing them some love today, too, would of course be a very cool thing to do.)
Readers are encouraged to post a snapshot of themselves and their Independent Bookstore Day haul on social media with the hashtag #TEAMINDIE and #EasternShoreIndies

What do I do with my Passport after April 28th?
Turn your passport into the last bookstore on your stop. For every stamp on your passport, you’ll be entered to win a raffle for one of 3 prize baskets. Baskets include books and bookish accessories
and a $50 gift card to the participating store of your choice.
