Take an “Eastern Odyssey” into the worlds of Buddhism and Hinduism with our next interfaith bus tour, on Friday, September 27, 2024, gathering at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 26998 Woodward Avenue, in Royal Oak, Michigan 48067, and leaving promptly at 9:30 am for the first visit to the Midwest Buddhist Meditation Center in Warren, Michigan, in Troy, Michigan. There will be the opportunity to engage in the practice of meditation .
We will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Lastly, we will explore the beautiful Bharatiya Hindu Temple in Troy, Michigan.
The bus will return to St. John’s Episcopal Church at 3:00 pm, and again those who attend should prepare to remove their shoes at both locations.
The cost of $70.00 includes bus transportation, honoraria for site visits, driver gratuity, and lunch.
