This year St. Peter's Church of Oldtown Valley is celebrating its 67th year of Easter Sonrise Service! We invite you to join in this worship and reflection of Jesus Christ resurrection as the sun rises!
Started in 1957 by friends, Marilyn Deardorff/Keffer and Linda Angel/Rice as young senior girls while in St. Peter's Luther's League. Originally, up top the cemetery hill, Easter Sonrise Service has migrated to the hilltop intersection of Kinsey Valley Rd. & Sharon Valley Rd. In New Philadelphia.
This year's service commemorates the 50th year of Marilyn Keffer 's son, Rick Keffer leading worship of Sonrise Service and Easter worship leadership of St. Peter's Church! This is a momentous occasion for both the church and community.
