Our Easter Hound Hunt is an Easter egg hunt for the dogs! The hunt kicks off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, and you can register at 1 p.m. at the shelter or online at cvas-pets.org.
Thousands of plastic Easter eggs will be stuffed with dog treats and participants are asked to bring their dogs on a leash for the hunt. Specially marked eggs can be redeemed for prizes. Two separate hunt locations will be available for small and large dogs.
We ask for a minimum $5 donation to the shelter to participate.
Following the hunt, the shelter will hold an Easter bonnet contest. Prizes will be awarded.
Easter photos will also be taken by donation and the Easter Bunny will be at the event as well.
It's so much fun! Be sure to ask Mother Nature for good weather!
