April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, so on April 12th we are flying the Easter Bunny in for a Luau and Easter Egg hunt with children 10 and under to benefit Butterfly Bridge, CAC Satellite Office of Autauga County. A little about them:
Specially trained staff members at Butterfly Bridge CAC conduct legally justifiable fact-finding interviews with children at the request of law enforcement or the Department of Human Resources during child abuse investigations. The interviews are designed to allow a child to disclose abuse if abuse has occurred.
Butterfly Bridge Children's Advocacy center offers a safe, child-friendly environment to children victimized by abuse or neglect as we provide restoration and justice in their lives. The children need only tell their story 1 time. The interviewer get the information to all the appropriate people.
