Easter Basket Weaving | Doreen Smith, instructor

Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop with renowned basket weaver Doreen Smith! Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced maker, this class at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts is the perfect way to learn new techniques, explore your artistic side and craft a beautiful Easter basket you’ll be proud to take home. The finished product will be built on a 6-inch round base, approximately 14 inches to the top of the handle.

Doreen will guide you step‑by‑step through the weaving process, sharing expert tips, creative ideas and plenty of inspiration along the way. It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, learn something new and enjoy quality time with others.
