APRIL 5TH | 9:00 & 10:45AMTwo days after Good Friday, a woman stands alone beside a grave. Mary had met Jesus, and her life had been changed forever. She believed a new story had begun. But now he was gone, and everything felt shattered. What she hoped for seemed buried with him.
And then, in the quiet of the garden, she hears her name. She turns and sees Jesus, alive. In a single moment, grief gives way to wonder. The grave is not the end of the story.
On Easter, we gather to celebrate this good news: Jesus’ story does not end in death but in resurrection, and neither does ours. What looked like defeat became victory. What felt like loss became life. What seemed finished was only just beginning. The resurrection is not just something that happened long ago. It is hope for today. It is the promise that God is still at work, still bringing life out of what feels broken.
