East Side Gallery Night returns on Friday, July 17, from 5-10 PM, inviting the community to experience Milwaukee's East Side through local art, creativity, music, shopping, and dining.
This free, neighborhood-wide event transforms the East Side into an evening of artistic discovery. Explore galleries and creative businesses, browse local makers, discover colorful murals, enjoy live music, and take advantage of special experiences at participating businesses throughout the neighborhood.
Ivanhoe Plaza: The Heart of Gallery Night
Visit Ivanhoe Plaza throughout the evening, where Milwaukee Makers Market will host a vendor market featuring local artists, makers, vintage vendors, and creative small businesses from 5-10 PM. While you're there, experience "Veridian Kaleidoscope," the vibrant ground mural by POMA Art and Ryan Laessig, along with colorful barrier artwork by Cutesy Macabre.

Discover murals throughout the neighborhood, including Black Cat Alley, the Hunter Kottke Memorial Mural, Leopard at Kind Oasis, the Butterfly Sidewalk Mural, the colorful murals at The Rooftop at Wayfinder, "Yet Unnamed Rhinoceros" at East Side Family Chiropractic, and the Von Trier Murals, a collection of works celebrating the tavern's German heritage and artistic history.
