East Rock Brass Band live at Cafe Nine
About this Event
East Rock Brass Band
The East Rock Brass Band brings the energy and music of New Orleans Brass Bands to any venue they perform at. Emerging from New Haven, CT in 2023, they have been performing for many events and stages around CT and MA. They have also played in parades bringing the feeling of being in New Orleans listening to a 2nd line brass band to CT. Their set contains music from other New Orleans Brass Bands as well as originals fusing hip hop, jazz, and latin feels. When the East Rock Brass Band isn’t performing on stage, they are giving back to the community. They strongly value the importance of music education and using music as a platform to communicate and give a voice to people who aren’t usually heard.
