Have you or a member of your family been affected by the Windrush Scandal? Join us for this free community clinic to learn about the Windrush Compensation Scheme and the Windrush Documentation Scheme, and receive practical guidance.

Delivered in partnership with the Home Office, the event will include:

• A presentation from the Home Office explaining the history of the Windrush Scandal and the Windrush Schemes, including the Windrush Compensation Scheme and the Windrush Documentation Scheme, covering eligibility, how to access support, and how to submit a claim if eligible.
• An opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from Home Office representatives.
• Free one-to-one support to help you understand the Windrush Schemes and the claims process.
• Guidance for people who are considering making a claim.

Whether you need help starting a claim, understanding the evidence required, or navigating the process, experienced support will be available throughout the afternoon.

Who Should Attend:

Commonwealth citizens who came to the UK and settled here before 1 January 1973, or people of any nationality who came to the UK and settled here before 31 December 1988, and believe they may have been affected by the Windrush Scandal.

Family members supporting a loved one with a claim, or who may have experienced losses because of what happened to an eligible family member.

Anyone who would like to learn more about the Windrush Compensation Scheme or the Windrush Documentation Scheme.

The event is free to attend, but booking is essential as places and one-to-one appointments are limited. We look forward to welcoming you to this important community event.
