About this Event
Learning from accidents or failures is a key responsibility for the role of a safety professional. Except, our educational routes don’t always tell us how to effectively do this! You can become a “qualified” safety professional without having spent any real time learning how to respond and learn from failure. There is no silver bullet, and we don’t have all the answers. What we do have is a set of developed, tried and tested, transferable tools and approaches that safety leaders across multiple sectors use day in & day out to prevent, manage, and learn from failures.
This workshop gives you the opportunity to learn and apply the very same failure management techniques used by safety professionals from small businesses, through to multinational & complex organisations, with practical takeaways that you can put into practice straight away.
This is your opportunity to expand your knowledge to get the best user experience to help enhance your professional journey. This event plans to cover the following IOSH competencies: Business context- internal and external (Core),Health and safety competence (Technical), Health and safety governance (Technical)at the implement and Understand Level and is open to members and non-members.
