East London Pride: winter festival

🌈 From London City Island Pride to something even bigger! 🌈

What started as London City Island Pride is evolving into a brand new chapter, our very own East London Pride right here in Tower Hamlets!

With incredible support from Tower Hamlets Council, The Lockdown Room (who continue to support and fund us), plus our friends at Tower Hamlets LGBT Forum and ELOP, we’re proud to be raising funds for Stonewall Housing, with over £6,000 already raised by our amazing Canning Town community over the last three years. 💪

Now we’re inviting even more queer folk and allies to join us in our little corner of London to celebrate, connect, and create something joyful together. 💖

✨ Here’s a taste of what’s coming:

🎨 Collaboration with R.A.G.E. LTD (Real Art Generates Emotion) featuring incredible trans artists

📚 Drag Story Hour and tabletop activities for families

🎤 Drag Bingo, Winter Pride Show, and live music

🐾 Doggy Pride March and Queer Christmas Market

🎧 Live with GlitterBeam Radio, part of their 30 hour Pride marathon across 20 UK venues

All events are free to attend, and you can book your tickets for the full range of activities taking place across The Lockdown Room and The Lantern Room throughout the weekend.

This is a celebration of love, art, and local pride made by and for our community.

We’re also unveiling our exciting new logo by Jason Jones (ThisBoyJason) and officially launching East London Pride, bringing Pride energy to East London like never before. Doors have always been open, but now we’re ready to welcome even more of you in.

Join us on the 6th and 7th of December for a weekend of creativity, community, and celebration. Everyone’s welcome.
