The popular Cooking & Cocktail Demo series returns with a taste of the Mediterranean. Pat Lambrinos, a first-generation Greek-New Orleanian writer, will demonstrate a basic of Greek cuisine - avgolemono or lemon egg chicken rice soup--the ultimate Greek comfort food. She will also conduct a tasting of a Greek wine. The first presentation occurs at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie. The second session occurs at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, at the Jane O'Brien Chatelain West Bank Regional Library, 2751 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey.
