East Altamonte Community CERT Training

CERT Training equips members of the community with the skills, knowledge and resources to better respond to, and recover from the disasters which impact our community. Learning hands-on skills to:

• Basic medical care (just beyond first aid)
• Fire & utility safety
• Search & rescue
• Psychological impacts of disaster, Psychological First Aid
• Situational Awareness in large venue settings
• Resources around them to assist their recovery efforts

Each member who completes the course will also recieve a CERT Response Starter Kit & Bag along with a certificate of completion. If further participation is something you're looking for; CERT members are welcomed (not required) to serve at community events & participate in public safety exercises, as well as serve the community post-disaster.
