PLOWSHARE ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM ON JULY 18
Dear friends,
The Plowshare program "Earth's Environmental Crisis and What We Can Do About It", will take place on July 18 at 2 PM at Williams Memorial Baptist Church, 2105 Carroll Av NW. A panel presentation with Dan Crawford, Chair of the Sierra Club's Roanoke Group; Dr. Michael Bentley of the Plowshare Board; and Robert Egbert of Sustainable Roanoke and Chair of the Roanoke Unitarian Universalist Green Team will serve on the panel. Presenters will address the polycrisis of global warming and loss of biodiversity and various ways that individuals and localities can mitigate these increasingly evident environmental changes.
