Join us for an afternoon of wonder. Our team of speakers -- a renowned meteorologist, the state climatologist, a water commissioner, and engineers -- will take you through the story of water in Colorado, from our local weather to our changing climate and snowpack to human engineering to address the issue of supply and demand of water in our region. But first consider the numbers: 97% of the water on Earth is salt water; 2% is locked up in ice, leaving us with only 1% of fresh water for human use, worldwide! Water is finite; we cannot create more water. EVWC is hosting this event in partnership with the Estes Park Environmental Film Festival. Speaker and talk information will be updated soon.
