Earth Week Open House

The Bronx River Art Center will be opening up its Building and backyard for a range of activities celebrating Earth Week, the opening of our Spring Session of art classes, and the Cultural Diversity of our Community. Jose Ortiz (AKA Dr. Drum) will ignite the ancestral rhythms of Bomba, while painter Marta Blair invites community members to add to a mobile mural celebrating movement and the Earth. A special treat for all participants will be to have their portraits taken in front of our community mural by Award Winning Photojournalist Marisol Diaz-Gordon, which they can then add to a group fold book documenting this day of sharing stories about Home and dreams for the future with BRAC studio artist Maya Ciarrocchi.
