A Day of Learning + Connection

Come spend a day outside, learning from plants, artists, musicians, educators, and one another.

Earth School of Craft and Ecology is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the land around us, with our own creativity, and with community. Throughout the day, we’ll move through the garden together, making, listening, learning, sharing a meal, and exploring different ways of being in relationship with the Earth.

A DAY TO LEARN, MAKE + CONNECT

Join Dianna Lopez, Leah Thomas, Allie Brown, Raven Ziegler, and Cynthia Meyers, the day will weave together music, ecology, herbalism, craft, storytelling, and community.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Live Music + Reflection

Experience an opening performance designed to invite presence, journaling, and sketching.

Ecology + Botanical Walk
Explore the garden and deepen your connection to the landscape around you.

Herbalism
Learn about plant relationships and create your own herbal tea blend to take home.

Natural Dyeing + Crafting
Explore plants, color, textiles, and hands-on making.

Community Circle + Lunch Beneath the Trees
Share food, stories, teachings, and time together in community.

Green Girl Crafts is a creative community and earth school for the curious, founded by environmentalist and author Leah Thomas. Rooted in the belief that making things by hand can bring us closer to the earth and to one another, it’s a place to gather, learn, experiment and create.
