April is the time to celebrate Earth Day! An Earth Day Fair, free and open to the public, is being held on Saturday, April 27, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley, 929 15th Street, rain, or shine. Invite your friends. There will be several children’s activities, electric cars to test drive, an art show, electric bikes to check out, and a food truck on site. Additionally, free books related to the earth will be available from Midnight Oil, as well as lots of information and organizations to help people live lightly on Earth. Some tips will help save money! The activities will be from 11:00-2:00. At 2:00 there will be a free showing of the film Common Ground, (commongroundfilm.org) that will discuss the healing power of regenerative agriculture. The cast includes Laura Dern, Woody Harrelson, Jason Mamoa and Rosario Dawson.
