Earth Day Event: DIY Seed Pods and Compost Demonstration

In partnership with the City of Scottsdale, let's celebrate Earth Week together!

Learn about Blue Zones Project Scottsdale and make biodegradable seed pots using household items (newspaper, egg cartons, and paper rolls) to plant at home. Seeds provided by The Seed Library, a program through the Scottsdale Public Library.

Also, learn the ABCs and 123s of composting with Scottsdale-based non-profit Let’s Go Compost! Discover the art of turning kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil for your garden. Seeds provided by Seeds provided by The Seed Library, a program through the Scottsdale Public Library and the City of Scottsdale.
