Earth Day 2026

This year at the university we've decided to strip it back and get back to nature (literally!)

We'd like you to join us on a walk around the campus here on our beautiful waterfront location to explore our habitat areas to see and understand what we are trying to do for nature restoration and enhancement on our very urban campus. We'll take you around the whole campus and explain area by area what they are and why we're doing what we're doing.

Followed up afterwards by a coffee (or tea) and cakes in James Hehir building , all on us.

What could be better to do for a morning than to have an amble around followed by a relaxed chat at the end so we can get your thoughts on what we're doing and the world of sustainability in general. We're always interested in what other people think and value feedback of any kind.

Meeting up at 9.00am in our landmark Waterfront building for a 9.15 start, expecting to end around 11.00am.
