About this Event

In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day that week, help us care for young trees and clean up trash at the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Pavillion.

Your help with caring for these vulnerable trees will give them a leg up in becoming a permanent part of our tree canopy and park space.

We will provide all the necessary tools and supplies to care for trees. After learning the tools and techniques, participants will begin caring for trees throughout the park.

Sign up here to mulch, W**d, and care for young trees! If you'd prefer to participate in the trash pick-up, sign up here.

After volunteering, stick around and join us for an Earth & Arbor Day Celebration in the park with free food, music, boating, skating, and more! From 1:30-3:30pm. Learn more and register for the celebration here.

Register now! We will send a logistics and directions email with detailed information about the event.
