About this Event

DESCRIPTION:

Open Studio is for artists who are experienced in clay and have completed at least one 8-week ceramic class at the Concho Clay Studio so they are familiar with our clay systems and studio rules. Participants are expected to work without instructor assistance and must be self-sufficient in their understanding of clay, tools, glazes, and other materials.

Early Winter Session Open Studio

SCHEDULE:

Tuesdays 10 am – 2 pm

Wednesdays 10 am – 2 pm

Thursdays 10 am – 2 pm

Fridays 10 am – 3 pm & 4 pm – 9 pm

Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm

Open Studio may occasionally be unavailable, please check ahead.

IMPORTANT:

Open Studio access is included in all 4-8 week courses - if you are signed up for one of these classes, you do not need to register for Open Studio.

Tools are provided during open studio. All clay must be purchased from the studio. Firings and access to glazes are included. Only studio-approved glazes provided are permitted to be used. Staff is available for questions or concerns only.

There are no discounted or prorated options for open studio passes if you sign up later in the session.

PLEASE NOTE:

Open Studio is for adults 18 years or older. Students 16-17 years of age may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian who meets experience requirements. If you are interested in children's programming, please visit https://www.samfa.org/education-at-samfa.

Only one ticket may be purchased at a time. Please use the name and contact information for the intended person if you are purchasing a ticket for another person.

REFUND POLICY:

1 Week Prior to Start Date: 100%

48 hours prior to Start Date: 75%

No refunds are given for Open Studio after the session begins. We can offer credits toward other classes or future open studio sessions.

We determine refunds on a case-by-case basis. Our policy does not take attendance into consideration. All Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. Please email [email protected] to request a refund.
