About this Event

Early signs and symptoms of children's sleep disorders and interventions

Sleep-disordered breathing and other childhood sleep disorders are increasingly recognised as significant contributors to behavioural, cognitive, craniofacial, airway, growth, and overall health concerns in children — yet many early signs are frequently overlooked in everyday clinical practice.

Parents, teachers and health professionals working with children are often uniquely positioned to identify subtle indicators such as mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, behavioural dysregulation, altered facial growth, and daytime fatigue before more serious consequences develop.

This talk will explore the early signs and symptoms of paediatric sleep disorders, the impact these conditions can have on a child’s development and wellbeing, and the importance of timely, interdisciplinary intervention to support healthier sleep, airway function, growth, learning, and quality of life.

Join Dr Derek Mahony, ENT Dr Ryan De Freitas and Myofunctional and Airway Focused Dentist Dr Prabha Iyer, for this FREE three hour informative talk. CPD certificate included for health professionals.
