Early Show: Eliza

Vancouver-born singer-songwriter Eliza Barry blends warm indie pop with soulful acoustic sounds, her songs known for their dreamy melodies, intricate harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics. Her influences range from the intimate songwriting of Feist, Joni Mitchell, and Norah Jones to the contemporary indie-pop of Maggie Rogers and the nostalgic sounds of early Coldplay.
Her latest single, “East,” blends indie pop with a nostalgic ’90s acoustic feel, exploring themes of renewal and the unexpected detours that can spark personal transformation.
