A concert of late 17th-century Bohemian baroque music from the repertoire of Kromênz Castle.
The 2024 PBA Early Music Festival features a concert of late 17-century Bohemian baroque music from the repertory of the Kromêriz Castle. Guest artist Barry Bauguess will be joined by the vocal group Espressivo, directed by John Weatherspoon, and a period-instrumen orchestra. The feature work will be the first U.S. performance of Pave; Vejvanowsky's Missa Florida in an edition by Dr. Michael O'Connor. Chamber music from the same time and location will be offered by the PBA Early Music Ensembl.
$15 general admission; PBA students and those 18 & under free.
