Early Intervention Overview
About this Event
Join EFMP and CYP as we explore Early Intervention and the "Early Start" services offered by the San Diego Regional Center! Early Start supports eligible infants and toddlers from birth through age 3 who have developmental delays, established developmental disabilities, or certain developmental risk factors. Through early identification, evaluation, and individualized support, Early Start helps children build developmental skills while empowering families with valuable information, guidance, and resources. Join us for this informative and engaging workshop to learn more about Early Start services, eligibility requirements, the referral and evaluation process, and how families can access available support. Participants will gain a better understanding of the family-centered approach used to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan, or IFSP, and how service coordinators partner with families throughout their Early Start journey. This workshop is a valuable opportunity to ask questions, connect with knowledgeable professionals, and discover how early intervention services can help children reach their fullest potential.
