In response to popular demand, we’re excited to release additional tickets to our sold-out public event as part of this year’s Irish Design Week. We’re also introducing accessibility access for the Saturday 16th between 1:15 - 2:15 via the Gaiety School of Acting to ensure everyone can experience the very best of Irish creativity, design, and craftsmanship

The wait is over! Dublin Independent Fashion Week (DIFW) is returning for its 2nd year, this time in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre, to provide a vibrant and eclectic space for Irish talent to showcase their work. This Saturday, Nov 16th, we’re inviting you to discover the best of Ireland's established and emerging talent, connect with fashion’s industry leaders and witness the future of Irish design.

Our showcase aims to inspire designers across Ireland to continue cultivating their work on Irish soil. By providing a platform for creators nationwide, DIFW offers a much-needed opportunity in a time when many are drawn away to fashion hubs outside of home.

What’s Waiting for you at DIFW24:

• Designer Showcase: Witness the promising work of 20 independent fashion, jewellery, and accessory designers at our Irish Design Showroom. Each brand has curated an immersive pop-up space, welcoming visitors into their world. Shop from your new favorite designers, connect with industry titans, and be inspired by the diverse lineup of bespoke creations.
• Live Showcase: Our Saturday event will feature designer presentations brought to life through exclusive immersive dance and music performances.
• Best Dressed Feature: Step out in style while #SupportingLocal at our event. Showcase your best fashion championing Irish design and you could win the coveted Best Dressed title and a fabulous prize.
• "Ones to Watch": As a response to having more robust support of the local Irish design scene, DIFW will debut its "Ones to Watch" feature. Six emerging talents on the cusp of breaking through will have a dedicated section for their offerings.
• Sustainable Focus: Sustainability is at the heart of DIFW. You will see a commitment to responsible practices and sustainable materials throughout the showcase.
• Support Local Talent: DIFW is your chance to champion independent Irish design. By attending, you empower a spirited community of creatives to continue producing their art in their home country.

Dublin Independent Fashion Weekend is an event dedicated to creating a platform for Independent Designers based in Ireland.

The DIFW 2024 Irish Design Showroom in Smock Alley Theatre is part-funded by the Design & Crafts Council Ireland.
