Save the Date!!! The Person County Museum of History and the NC Cooperative Extension - Person County Center are joining forces to celebrate America 250 by hosting an Early America Living History Fair on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Person County Museum of History Location.
We are inviting visitors to step back in time to experience life in our area during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Costumed interpreters will demonstrate heritage skills that would have been used by residents of the Central Piedmont for generations. These include foodways, domestic tasks (weaving/dyeing/quilting etc), agricultural and industrial tasks and much more.
This is a free, all ages event that will take place rain or shine. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event please contact [email protected].
