American rapper Earl Sweatshirt found his start as a teenager (at the age of 15!!!) with Odd Future, a hip-hop collective led by Tyler, The Creator. His debut mixtape ‘Earl’, released in 2010, immediately impressed with his raw, unpolished style and complex lyrics. After a period of silence, he dropped several albums such as ‘Doris’, ‘I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside’, ‘Some Rap Songs’,...
His lyrics are pure, uncensored poetry about life in metropolitan Chicago. He works there with Frank Ocean and Danny Brown and can count the RZA and the Neptunes among his fan club. Despite his young age, he has already made a significant impact and continues to evolve as an artist, always looking for new ways to express his creative vision. He proves the same on his latest album ‘VOIR DIRE’, a collaboration between Earl and legendary producer The Alchemist. The album is a delicious fusion of soul samples and Earl's lyrical depth.
