The Idaho Civil War Volunteers, with the support of Eagle Island State Park, will be hosting this annual event. The dates are as follows;03 May Saturday open 9:30 AM to 4 PM
04 May Sunday open 9:30 to 3 PM.
Please join us and take a walk through time in recreated Civil War camps and interact with military and civilian living historians. We will conduct blank firing demonstrations during each day to show the technology of the era. Visit different stations with topics ranging from the US Telegraph service to the US Sanitary Commission, replica pontoon bridges and other areas.
Please check back for updates as we get closer such as the exact firing schedules for both days. If the weather is inclement, please check in since we had to make a difficult decision last year and cancel Sunday. We are hoping the weather cooperates this year!
