En el corazón del majestuoso Columbia River Gorge se esconde uno de los senderos más impresionantes de Oregon: Eagle Creek. Un camino esculpido por el tiempo y la fuerza del agua, donde cada curva revela una nueva maravilla natural.

Desde el inicio, este sendero te sumerge en un mundo de acantilados cubiertos de musgo, paredes de basalto y una serie interminable de cascadas. Nuestra primera parada será Punchbowl Falls, una joya escondida donde el agua cae en una piscina cristalina rodeada de vegetación exuberante.

A medida que avanzamos, cruzaremos puentes que desafían la gravedad y estrechos senderos esculpidos en la roca, con vistas que quitan el aliento. Pero la verdadera joya de la corona es Tunnel Falls, una cascada de 40 metros que nos brinda la oportunidad única de caminar detrás de su velo de agua, atravesando un túnel tallado a mano hace más de un siglo. Esta maravilla fue parte de los proyectos históricos del Civilian Conservation Corps en la década de 1910, y hoy sigue dejando a los aventureros sin palabras.

From the start, this trail immerses you in a world of moss-covered cliffs, basalt walls, and an endless series of waterfalls. Our first stop will be Punchbowl Falls, a hidden gem where water cascades into a crystal-clear pool surrounded by lush vegetation.

As we continue, we’ll cross gravity-defying bridges and narrow paths carved into the rock, with views that will take your breath away. But the true crown jewel is Tunnel Falls, a 40-meter waterfall that offers a unique opportunity to walk behind its water curtain, passing through a tunnel carved by hand over a century ago. This wonder was part of the historic Civilian Conservation Corps projects in the 1910s and continues to leave adventurers speechless.
