Join the National Council of Negro Women, Brooklyn Section, for our annual Each One Take One: Mary McLeod Bethune Birthday Brunch Celebration.

Inspired by the vision and legacy of NCNW Founder Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, this cherished tradition celebrates the power of intergenerational connection, mentorship, sisterhood, and service. Bethune believed that each generation has a responsibility to uplift, educate, and empower the next—a philosophy embodied in the spirit of “Each One Take One.”

This special brunch brings together women of all ages to honor the life and work of one of America’s greatest educators, civil rights leaders, and advocates for Black women while strengthening the bonds that connect our community across generations.

This year, we will also pay tribute to the memory and legacy of our beloved NCNW Brooklyn member: Ms. Daisy M. Shavers
