Men’s E-Free Fishing Event – Cast a Line and Connect!
Guys, grab your fishing gear and get ready for a great day of fun, fellowship, and fishing at the Men’s E-Free Fishing Event on Saturday, June 13!
Spend the day fishing on Otsego Lake, however you’d like—head out in a boat with a buddy, cast from shore at Steve Johnson’s place, or fish at the State Park. Then join the group at 5:30 PM at Steve Johnson’s home on the lake for a hearty meal featuring burgers, brats, baked beans, chips, and brownies.
This year’s event lines up with Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend, making it the perfect opportunity to invite a friend—no fishing license required for Michigan residents during the free fishing dates.
The evening will wrap up with some friendly competition and prizes awarded at 7:30 PM for:
Most Fish Caught (all species)
Largest Bass
Largest Walleye
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just enjoy good conversation by the water, this is a relaxed and enjoyable way to connect with other men from E-Free and build community together.
Suggested donation: $10 to help cover the meal.
