E Bike training - Haringey

Cycle Sisters have partnered with Lime Bikes to offer E-Bike training in Haringey. Join our instructors for a free introduction to riding an E-Bike.Lime e-bikes will be provided free of charge for the training session.

This session will help you:

● Build confidence to safely use a Lime e-bike on off road and on road environments

● Understand more about using Lime e-bikes

● An opportunity to refresh some cycling skills

Please note this is not a session for beginner cyclists who cannot ride a bike or those that are not confident on the road.To participate you will need to be confident in riding a two-wheel bicycle. Lime Bikes are also only suitable for those over 5ft tall and over 18 years old.

Please bring with you:

-Water

-Snacks

-Helmet (if you wish to wear one)

-Clothing suitable for the weather conditions and for riding a bike

-Shoes need to be securely attached to feet and loose hanging or dangly clothing be secured in place

Terms and Conditions of participation:

• Participants MUST be 18 years or over. We reserve the right to refuse your participation should you not be able to prove your age when asked.
• It is the decision of The Participant to wear a cycle helmet. These will not be provided by Cycle Sisters. If the Participant chooses not to wear a cycle helmet on a training course, the Participant understands that Cycle Sisterswill not be held liable for the result of any injury, which may have been prevented by the wearing of a helmet.
• The Participant understands that Cycle Sisters is not responsible for any injury or any loss or damage to any property which is not caused by an instructor’s negligence and that Cycle Sisters takes no responsibility whatsoever for any injury or damage to any property which occurs either on the way to or from the lesson or subsequent to lessons.
• The Participant is responsible for declaring any medical issues that might impact the running of the session. This should be declared on the Eventbrite booking form, or speak to the instructor prior to the session.
• The Participant accepts that the instructors may, at any time, refuse to continue to train them if their behaviour or ability level is deemed to be unsuitable.
• Riding an e-bike on a road or in a public place while unfit to do so through the use of drugs or alcohol is against the law. The Participant accepts that the instructors may, at any time, refuse to continue to train them if the instructor believes that the Participant is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• The Participant understands that having completed this training, it does not necessarily mean that it is safe for them to ride an e-bike.
• The Participant understands and agrees that the personal details held by Cycle Sistres will be processed in accordance with Cycle Sister's Privacy Policy. Anonymised participant data will be shared with Lime.
• We will continue to deliver training in wet weather and it is at the discretion of the instructor to pause the training depending on safety.Please bring suitable clothing for all weathers.
