The 2026 Dún Laoghaire Organ Concert Series welcomes rising German organist Jan Liebermann.
Currently studying at the University of Music and Theatre Munich, Jan Liebermann has already performed at major venues including the Berlin Philharmonie, Müpa Budapest, Westminster Abbey, King’s College Cambridge, and York Minster. In 2025, he became the first organist to receive the prestigious Deutschlandfunk Förderpreis since its introduction in 1998, and made an acclaimed solo debut at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as part of celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of its Schuke organ.
