Our Dia de los Muertos event is Free and Open to the public!
Join us Friday, November 7 from 5-8 pm for a Celebration of Life and Legacy! This celebration features two hands-on workshops, live musical performance, traditional food and drinks, and more! Artist Lourdes Valverde will lead guests in making monarch butterflies to be a part of a collective installation, and Artist Vicente Yanez will assist guests in decorating a sugar skull ornament. Musical guests “Trio Hermanitos” will perform at 6 pm. Get your picture taken with live Catrina and Calavera costumed characters. Attendees are invited to contribute to our ofrenda (altar) by bringing a photograph to honor loved ones that have passed. Traditional food and drinks will also be provided!
This event is presented in coordination with Avanza Arkansas, and the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock!

Celebrating their 16th year anniversary, Community Creative Center, located in the heart of Fayetteville’s arts and cultural district, is a visual and studio arts organization providing hands-on studio classes, workshops, and camps in a variety of art forms including clay and pottery, painting, drawing, printmaking, sand casting, sewing, leather working and mixed media for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. We work closely with area schools to provide curriculum-enhancing arts programming, provide specialized art workshops for community groups and exhibition and retail opportunities for local and regional artists.

¡Nuestro evento del Día de los Muertos es gratuito y abierto al público!
Acompáñanos el viernes 7 de noviembre de 5:00 a 8:00 p.m. para una Celebración de Vida y Legado. Esta celebración contará con dos talleres interactivos, música en vivo, comida y bebidas tradicionales, ¡y mucho más!
La artista Lourdes Valverde guiará a los asistentes en la creación de mariposas monarca como parte de una instalación colectiva, y el artista Vicente Yáñez ayudará a decorar un adorno de calavera. Los invitados musicales “Trío Hermanitas Hernández” se presentarán a las 6:00 p.m.. Podrás tomarte fotos con personajes disfrazados de Catrinas y Calaveras. Los asistentes están invitados a contribuir a nuestra ofrenda (altar) trayendo una fotografía en honor a sus seres queridos que han fallecido. También se ofrecerán comida y bebidas tradicionales.
