🇲🇽 From Mexico to Berlin, a beautiful tradition of remembrance...
In Mexican Día de los Muertos traditions, October 27th is the day dedicated to remembering the animals we've lost — a time to welcome their spirits home and celebrate the place they held in our lives.
🐾 This year, Take a Pawse and Wash BooBoo are bringing a little of that tradition to the heart of Berlin...
Join us for an open house on October 27th, between 6–9pm, to remember and celebrate the animals that are no longer with us.
🌼 Bring a photo. We'll be creating an ofrenda (altar), where you're welcome to place a picture of your pet. You can also share a photo for our digital slideshow.
✍️ Write a few words. Inspired by the Mexican tradition of calaveritas literarias — short, often playful poems about death and remembrance — we invite you to write a little poem or message for your pet. Sweet, funny, or sentimental, it's entirely up to you.
🕯️ Light a candle. Tea lights will be available for a small donation, with all proceeds going to a local animal shelter.
Stop by for a few minutes, share a memory, or simply take a quiet moment to remember 🐾
Celebrate the lives of our animals, and honor the love that lasts forever ❤️🐾
