Día de los Muertos at Calaca Mamas Cantina

Anaheim’s Día de los Muertos-themed restaurant, Calaca Mamas Cantina, is the ultimate spot to celebrate the holiday. Just steps from Disneyland, this family-owned cantina brings the season to life with colorful décor, festive energy, and a special menu rooted in Mexican heritage.

Guests can enjoy a Family Meal Special for $80 (feeds 2–4 people, available after 3 p.m. for dine-in only). The menu includes a choice of appetizer (guacamole or queso fundido), lamb barbacoa entrée with beans, rice, salsa, onions, and consomé, choice of tortillas, and a sweet ending of capirotada or churros. Requires purchase of 2 beverages, no substitutions.

For added fun, Calaca Mamas will host a Sugar Skull Face Painting Contest on both days. Guests who arrive with their faces painted can snap a photo inside or outside the restaurant (with the logo visible), post to social media tagging Calaca Mamas, and be entered to win a $100 Calaca Mamas gift card. Entries close at midnight on Nov. 2, and the winner will be announced shortly after.
