About this Event
Join us to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Petaluma's Dia de los Muertos celebration! This annual holiday honors the deceased and is traditionally observed in parts of Mexico and other Latin American communities.
We are proud to help them secure volunteers for the main celebration on Saturday November 1 as well as two sessions on Thursday Oct 30. Please note that below is a complete list of volunteer requests. When you RSVP, the check out questions will allow you to select which activity you are signing up for.
SCHEDULE & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Thu Oct 30:
- 12:30 - 3:30pm: Volunteer to string papel picado decorations
- 5 - 6pm: Volunteer briefing (all volunteers encouraged to attend)
Sat Nov 1:
- 1 - 3pm: Help with vendor arrival and placement
- 5:45 - 8pm: Prep procession and keep participants on sidewalk
- 8-10pm: Event clean up
Food & Drink: Provided for all Nov 1 volunteers
