General Rules

1. Visitors must be accompanied by authorized personnel at all times. you will be allowed to visit with the assistance of your own guide.
2. Inside the catacomb, photography and videotaping are prohibited. In case there are violators, the accompanying guide has the authority to eject the visitor.
3. The visitor, upon entering the catacomb, is required to present the ticket to the guide, who will verify the regularity of the coupon, according to what is stated in these Regulations.
4. The visitor is required to keep the entrance ticket for the duration of the visit, as checks may be made at the end of the tour.
5. It is forbidden to bring animals of any kind inside the catacombs.
6. Smoking is prohibited inside the monuments.
7. The group of visitors should consist of a number of people proportionate to the capacity of the rooms of the catacomb and in any case not more than 35, in order to allow effective surveillance to prevent damage to the monument, the removal of movable objects, as well as to ensure the safety of visitors.
8. For the implementation of the aforementioned Norms, controls by specific contact persons of the Pontifical Commission of Sacred Archaeology are provided.
